LAWN MAINTENANCE
Charlotte Groundskeepers, Inc. takes lawn care seriously. Our goal is
to make your lawn one that people recognize for its beauty. One
way we do this is through our weekly lawn maintenance program.
Since
we have such a high standard for lawn maintenance,
we use only the best equipment.
We can provide lawn maintenance for any type of lawn
from fescue to Bermuda, and residential to commercial. We also offer
other lawn maintenance programs such as spring and fall clean up, and gutter
cleaning. We will meet and exceed your expectations for lawn maintenance.
Weekly Lawn Maintenance Includes:
Mowing
All turf areas will be mowed and trimmed every week
during the growing season; except when weather dictates
otherwise, not to exceed a 12 day interval. All walkways,
driveways and curbs will be edged with a metal blade
to ensure a crisp appearance. All grass and debris will be removed from
all hard surfaces after the turf is trimmed.
Leaf Removal
All leaves will be removed on a weekly basis
throughout the period of 6 to 8 weeks during leaf season.
Leaves will be removed from all turf and natural areas
or as specified by client.

fertilizer. Soil tests will be performed and Lime applied
to maintain correct pH level (as warranted).
WEED CONTROL
Turf Areas
Weeds will be kept under control to maintain
a reasonably weed free and healthy turf.
Natural Areas
Plant beds will be checked weekly for
weeds. They will be kept reasonably weed free. Weeding
of plant beds will be done using pre and post-emergent
herbicides, as well as by hand.

pine needles once per year during the month of February.
All beds and common areas will receive mulch once
per year during the month of February.
CORE AERATION
Lawn aeration is the process of removing
small soil plugs or cores from you lawn. When you aerate,
it decreases thatch build up, improves the grass rooting systems, enhances
the infiltration of rainfall or irrigation and prevents fertilizer and
pesticide run-off. The fall is the perfect time of year to have your
lawn aerated.
